Secret Life Family Tree

I made 2 of these and my personal Family Tree has stunning Dutch decals on the surface to honor my Dutch heritage on my Father side.

This is a custom ceramic piece and one is available with out any decals so it can be customized to your specifications or the inside left bright white or patina verde bronze.  I can unpack and take new photos if you contact me.

Hand built  in 3 pieces hanging on a custom hand forged steel back plate

My Secret Life of… series was created with the reflection of the cycle of life, death, decay and rebirth. Representational work mixing hand formed ceramics, raku postfire reduction, hand forged steel and copper, embellishments and glass.
Each piece in this series is a continuum of the last; as I hand form each piece in clay, I see and feel the direction it is headed. Currently, I am focusing on the surface of the "skin" of the tree; adding unexpected detail and embellishments to create the surreal and real juxtaposition I strive for in my work.
