Rings 4 Beth Kamhi

Stong, knotted, twisted, draped, hanging, woven and delicate. My vision for this series  was to create an installation that makes viewer ponder  the connection of everything in life; complexity, joyfulness and challenges.

Reminiscent of  fiber art and textile installations, this series embodies my love as an homage to this  creative genre.

Rings 4 has  2 elements:

1  steel  1/2" square bronze patina steel rings, 1 steel  1/2" round  gold ring. Each element is strung with assorted brass and  antiqued brass industrial ball chain that I intentionally  knot, drape and fringe  to create my design vision.   The piece is connected to a  round 1" back plate for installation ( which can be painted the wall color).
